Welcome to the 2017 Student Sessions program

Sydney Writers' Festival and the NSW Education Standards Authority have come together for the second year to present a full day of events tailored to Years 9–12 students.

Student Sessions 2017 features some of the world's most engaging minds speaking on a range of topics linked to the NSW school curriculum. We invite you to bring your students to inspiring events delivered by the biggest stars of the 2017 Sydney Writers' Festival – including a Shakespeare expert, a renowned economist and a leading writer on climate change.

The program is designed to introduce students to the world of ideas beyond the classroom.
