‘Alopi Latukefu

‘Alopi Latukefu has nearly two decades of experience in Australia's aid, economic diplomacy and foreign policy. Currently the Director of the Edmund Rice Centre for Justice & Community Education, he was formerly the Director for the Global Education and Scholarships team in Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. ‘Alopi has worked on Pacific issues, including establishing the South Pacific Information Network as part of the Island-Australia research program at The Australian National University, working as part of the Australia Aid program and as Chief of Staff and adviser to the Hon Duncan Kerr SC during his tenure as Minister responsible for Pacific Island Affairs in the Rudd Government. ‘Alopi, raised in PNG, has a familial legacy of education and leadership.
